Lutsk Сity Territorial Community is actively working on road repairs. More specifically, in order to provide better access for residents of Volodymyrska Street, who use the services of bus No. 25, road builders have repaired a section of the road that was completely unusable.
Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk, who had personally inspected the quality of the work, noted that bus drivers had refused to run the route because the pits on the road were up to forty centimetres deep. "We decided to repair the critical section of the road and make a sidewalk for the comfort of pedestrians," he said.
Today a team has also inspected street repairs in the villages of Zmiinets, Knyahynynok, Kulchyn and the recently repaired Karbysheva Street in Lutsk. The asphalt is also being laid on 8 Maloomelyanivskyi Lane.
"Unfortunately, due to the full-scale invasion, we cannot start repair work as we would prefer. We are trying to repair the most damaged areas and those with the highest number of complaints from citizens. We work in different neighbourhoods of Lutsk as well as in the villages that have joined our community. In total, we plan to repair more than thirty roads and streets. All residents of our community, regardless of where they live, should feel the improvement in the housing and communal sector. We plan to complete all the works by mid-October, while the weather is still favorable. All facilities are under warranty. At this stage, there are no defects, and we will assess the overall result when it comes to the final stage," said Ihor Polishchuk.
