Eight new comfortable route No. 1 buses of the Ukrainian production «Ataman» will start driving tomorrow.  The «Transcity» company has won the competition for the transportation of passengers in this direction. The vehicles of this company are already successfully operating in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Bila Tserkva. Now, passengers will enjoy services of the new buses in our city as well.

The representative of the carrier, Viktor Nesterchuk, says that «Ataman» buses are manufactured in Cherkasy and are built on the aggregate base of the Japanese manufacturer ISUZU. They have modern Euro-5 environmental standard engine and are designed to carry 50 passengers. All busses are equipped with a ramp, have a spacious interior and wide doors. They are also equipped with an autonomous heater and air conditioner for the driver.

In total, «Transcity» company operates more than 300 buses in Ukrainian cities. However, the company still plans to expand its rolling stock.

«Ataman» buses also made a pleasant impression on Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk, who personally inspected them.

«Our program, which lies in abandoning the operation of the old yellow “Bogdan” busses, which have long outlived their use in service, continues, even despite the war. And the number of such comfortable, modern, new and high-quality buses in our city is growing and will continue to grow. Yellow «Bogdans» will disappear from the roads of our city, because they are not environmentally friendly, not comfortable and not safe in the state in which they are moving on our roads today. «Ataman» buses have accessibility for people with disabilities and a frontal side display».

Ihor Polishchuk said that the «Transcity» company is planning to participate in tenders for the transportation of passengers on other routes, where it promises to put new good vehicles.
