At the meeting of the Steering Committee of the project "Urban Public Transport of Ukraine II", chaired by Anna Yurchenko, Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine for European Integration, a decision was made to approve the subproject "Renewal of the trolleybus fleet of Lutsk" with EUR 6.33 million funding from the European Investment Bank.

In fact, this is the last approval required for the project to be fully launched.

A tender will soon be announced for the purchase of 30 brand new trolleybuses, 6 of which will be equipped with autonomous electric units. This will allow trolleybus transportation even in places with no contact.

The renewal of the existing electric vehicle fleet will allow us to use the route network of our community effectively, replace the remaining old trolleybuses and buses with internal combustion engines with environmentally friendly and comfortable electric vehicles, and increase the comfort and convenience of passenger transportation.
