The Lutsk City Council, during its 53rd session on November 29, approved a decision to secure a €6.3 million loan. This financial move aims to facilitate the purchase of 30 new trolleybuses, a crucial step in the efforts of the City Council to modernize public electric transport fleet.
This loan process involves raising credit funds through the Financial Agreement "Ukraine Urban Public Transport FL II" between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank. The primary goal is to comprehensively address the public transport needs of the city by providing high-quality, modern and comfortable transport options while simultaneously enhancing the local environmental conditions.
The terms of this credit arrangement allow for a repayment period extending up to 22 years for each installment, including a grace period of up to 5 years.
